I’m Dawn, owner of Dough and Cakes.
For years I have enjoyed baking cakes and other sweet treats, and when the time was right, it was a no-brainer to just go for it!
My husband and daughter are chief taste testers, and with their support (and some wine), I’ve been able to turn a passion into work I love to do (even with the very late nights and very early mornings)!
I specialise in hand raised yeasted doughnuts, buttercream celebration cakes, and other sweet treats.
All of our goodies are baked to order, using the freshest ingredients, free range eggs, and Belgian chocolate.
I hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate, and public and product liability insurance up to £2 million.
I am proud to be rated 5 out of 5 by our local authority.
Five fun facts about me;
I used to play the saxophone when I was at school
I have very expensive taste in perfume; my favourite fragrance is £245 a bottle!
I have loved Giant Pandas my whole life, and would love to go to China to visit the Panda breeding centre.
I cannot dance (unless there's alcohol involved), despite both my parents being dancers
I LOVE Christmas, it's my favourite time of year.
